  • Joan, a Happy and Holy Christmas to you! I'm immagining you spending it in the company of your great church friends; and I hope that all is well.
    Every blessing,
    Roderick.
#1-2: Wow!, great to hear. So that was secondary hyperparathyroidism caused by kidney issues(?). what was wrong with the kidneys? Has there been an improvement in your motor neuron symptoms? We believe my friends is caused by the fibroid on her uterus, just waiting on a phone call to say the test results are in. Yes, the connection to hyperparathyroidism stretching back a long way, I would say about 20% made a full recovery but it looks like it is dependent on diagnoses been made early, then the medico's questioned if it really was ALS. There was others who's HPTH was resolved but the ALS continued on till the end. So of course the medico's then questioned the link.
#2-2: We believe the is a primary condition, which you have resolved, I may be able to help you with a treatment for the MND if it doesn't resolve itself. I may be wrong, which I hope I'm not. But I believe they have had the treatment for 6 years without fully realizing it, why - because you have to fix the underlying condition first, or it won't work. So happy for you Joan, maybe its an idea to put it on the main board to possibly help others(?) Hope to hear from you soon, Best Wishes, Terry.
Hi Joan from up here in Rockingham, ironically where working on the same idea as your GP, explained it on my page. Beautiful part of the world, always dreamed of having a place in Nannup myself. Best wishes, Terry
Wishing you all a Happy and Holy Christmas Joan! *It's just gone past 2am here, and we are back from Midnight Mass in the Anglican Cathedral. *Far from our own style of worship, but striking and deep none the less. Four of my chdren are asleep under our roof tonight, with a fifth due today, so we will have 9 around the table. I haven't anticipated a Christmas as much in years! *
    Hello Joan,
Just checking in as I havnt heard any news from you in a while. How's church? How's life?
    Blessings,

    Good morning Joan,
Just wondering how you're travelling? Hope you are feeling strong - inwardly at least!
Don't give it a thought. You could never offend me! Thank you for caring, we are totally setup now so it should never happen again. Life is full of adventures isn't it?
January 13th. I'm wondering how that made you feel? I can empathise, however Ive never let the 6 months actually expire. There has always seemed to be lots of other appointments, hospital admissions etc in between. I have a 6 month appointment at the moment, and I cant really immagine what things will be like then, its quite intimidating when you get the feeling that they are going to leave you to your own resources for that long. I do keep having adventures, you are quite right! Some trips come along on their own via a preaching invitation or as it was most recently a funeral to conduct. Other times Karen and I do a little travelling when we have respite car for our daughter. And then there are the 'bucket list' things that I keep doing - I dont know if its either wise or neccessary, but I am sort of compelled. And then I think that one day I will be forced to slow up. Not yet! Hope that your thoughts are settled Joan, and that peace is your guide.
    R.
