My poor husband is having a terrible time managing his saliva. He gets Botox shots (an equivalent, better product actually) every two months. They increased his dosage by 50% last time but it has worn off and is such a problem. He also has a prescription for Dicyclamine, he takes two pills (crushed for his PEG) four times a day. And he constantly uses his suction machine. He's getting so desperate, tomorrow when he goes back for his next Botox shots (which they will increase 50% again) he is going to ask to have radiation next time. They told him (Mayo clinic) that radiation is a no return proposition. It completely dries your mouth out and you can never get it back. I say go for it, there are products for moisturizing the mouth. Are we wrong? Has anyone else had this done? Comments? He is miserable, poor guy.
