"if G'day, She'll be right, and Mate come out with a pommie accent, strooth I'll be wild I'll give you the tip!"

This stuff drives me up a wall! I never know if I've been insulted, praised, or ignored!

LOL send you up like a rat up a drain pipe Mike ;)

Never ignored, you're totally beaut!

Janelle (Green Queen), I am so excited to share this with you!...

https://www.modeltalker.org - I stumbled across an amazing group on FB called "ALS - Patient and Caregiver tips for every day living". I asked about voice banking and by far and above, Model Talker (FREE of charge) was most highly recommended. I've pasted a link (very bottom of this post) to the FB page to get you to the post and specific conversation - in case you'd like to follow and join. Here is a YouTube video a gentleman made about his experience with it, which gives tips on how to get the best use out of it.

Did I mention it is currently in the beta phase so is FREE of charge? ;) And lastly, the site for Model Talker is https://www.modeltalker.org

Please feel free to let me know if you have any issues accessing any of these links and I can try emailing them to you instead. Best of luck to you, my friend, and please keep us posted :)

I banked my voice early on using ModelTalker. The speech pathologist at our ALS clinic said it's the best out there, and it works with "Predictable," to use it. So glad I did this because now my speech is garbled, and my voice weak. I'm going to be trained now in how to use it.

I also banked my voice with model talker. I used a Sennheiser PC8 headset, which I purchased online for about $40. It did a great job for me.

The lower quality headset I started with was not acceptable at all.

I agree with everyone here....Don't Wait. I waited thinking it wasn't near or going to be a problem. Then I downloaded Model Talker, did the test sentences, then they sent me the full/long list. I couldn't get through them with the pitch, volume, clarity, speed and stuff that it needed. I tried many different headset's that were suggested by them & on here, didn't help. I then just recorded some basic stuff into my computer and listened to it back. My first thought was who is this, I don't sound that bad. Then realized why it was too late for Model Talker to understand my sentences.
