  • Hi Ben, your story resembles mine very closely. Aching muscles, easily fatigued. Carrying everyday weights result in exhausted sore feeling. I also has hyperreflexia (super brisk right knee reflex, almost kicked the doctor, assymetrical). Partial Hoffman on right hand.
but I am also a bit better.

    Hyperreflexia almost gone now.
Hang in there, there are other stories like yours and (so far) doesn't look like it's ALS.

Hey, thanks for reaching out to me, I appreciate it. Glad to hear that you're doing better, during the last visit my neuro was also pretty optimistic and noted improvements in my status (reflexogenic zones are normal size now, clonus is gone, no Babinski, deep tendon reflexes are less brisk) and I also had normal NfL (within the 50th percentile) the last thing that worries me is the upcoming EMG soon.
