    Hello,

    If you were finally diagnosed with a CIDP, that's great news (because it's rarely fatal and there are many treatments), but you need to know it's not a motor neuron disease As you have specified in your Motor Neuron Disease profile, it is a peripheral neuropathy of inflammatory origin unlike ALS, PLS and PMA which are degenerative diseases of the central nervous system.
