Using iPad

My husband is having difficulty using his iPad because he can't put enough pressure on the keys. I'm not very tech savvy, so I don't understand the options under Accessibility. Any hints or explanations for me? Thanks so much!
 
Here is a good summary of the settings related to touch, Karen.

Also, if he still has finger motion, just weaker, mounting the iPad to a table that rolls under his bed or recliner, or to his wheelchair, may help. There are many articulating stands and clamps with arms (Tablift is a good brand for stands) that can bring the iPad to the angle and height that is best.

Later on, or he may want to start experimenting now, he may want to control the iPad using his voice, head, or eyes. There are tutorials on each of these here:
