Hi! Did your issues resolve? I fear mine are getting worse. In the last 3 weeks, I started noticing my right arm shaking more during my pilates class. Then it turned into not being able to lift as heavy weights as I could on my left arm. I strained my arm really bad while trying to lift a 20 lb weight (something I could 5 weeks ago) and it took several days to not feel sore anymore.

When the soreness settled, I noticed significant muscle shrinkage in my right shoulder, bicep, tricep and hand (FDI muscle). My fingers / hand dexterity is pretty off now and my hand just hurts from constantly straining it under minor usage.

I have atrophy in my right leg and left arm all the way to my left hand. I’ve had 2 emgs despite this and now the neurologist wants me to go see a neuromuscular specialist to get another emg. Both emgs have been clean and the third one should be the definitive test.

So what interests me tho, is my symtpoms didn’t present like ALS, and on top of that symptoms like tingling and stuff is not typical ALS, it’s not ALS at all actually. But I just had a possible ALS diagnosis brought up because there’s no other explanation for me.

I thought I was just really unlucky but the fact that you went on a trip and came back and experienced exactly what I did is crazy. I will share my whole story when I get the time. Currently getting ready for church
