My husband was diagnosed in November. He started both drugs and was not able to tolerate the Rizuole. We were sent information on the BTT institute in Florida. Might anyone have experience with this therapy or recommendations on other therapies. He is 50 yrs old and he is still mobile ish. His right leg is not really working although he is still managing to compensate/ lift it. And his right hand is all but unusable. He is not accepting of his limitations and I too feel his desperation but I am hesitant to go all in on therapies without some more information. Thanks for reading.

The doctor there is an ophthalmologist with an extra fellowship anesthesiology. There is no research to support this “treatment” in ALS. A claim that one therapy is an effective treatment for many diverse conditions is considered a red flag. Sadly you will find many places willing to take your money in exchange for unproven treatments.

I am sorry In his place I would consider looking for a clinical trial if he wants to try somethinh
