Hi, my name is Avnet. I'm 20 years old. My symptoms are specific and have many causes, so they are difficult to recognize and manage on their own. I understand that I have serious concerns about my health, so I turned to a psychiatrist about this. I apologize in advance if the translation is incorrect or I am not a native speaker. I respect you, I pray for your well-being, and I hope for the best.
My symptoms appeared on April 21, or rather, after the DPT vaccination. Then I watched a very scary video about tetanus... I was overcome by intense panic. Because I noticed fasciculations on the body, on two legs, all over the body, including the neck, ribs. That day, I felt my legs give out and they vibrate. There is also pain and numbness in the arms and legs, sharp and severe shooting pains.
When trying to move your fingers while typing on the keyboard, the feeling of current and pain is like twisting. The soles of the feet cramp violently and throb along with fasciculations. When I walk, I feel like I'm sinking into the ground. Sensation of vibration during fasciculations. At the same time, I can jump, walk on tiptoe.
I have read a report that fasciculations without atrophy and clinical weakness are not ALS, but I have also heard about the development of ALS with such symptoms. Do you think this could be the debut of the ALS? Another symptom is a lump in my throat and difficulty swallowing, but I eat as usual and drink water. Most likely, it's tonsillitis or GERD, I have these two diseases.
I am very ashamed to face such symptoms, but I am very worried. The neurologist's appointment is scheduled for June 23. Does it look like ALS?
