Hi everyone! I haven't had time to read through all the posts to see if this has been asked yet or not. I have not been diagnosed with anything yet. They have ruled out everything but ALS so far and I think they are just waiting to see what keeps popping up. My next appointment is mid May to test for ALS. Parkinson's was ruled out last month. Currently the twitches are happening more frequently and the leg stiffness, especially at the end of the day, has become more pronounced. With that said, I am looking for a job and have a second interview tomorrow. I know I don't have to disclose anything, especially since I have not been diagnosed with anything yet, but does anyone have any guidance for how to approach this? My hands are becoming more affected by starting to hurt using the mouse and writing. I don't want to get set up with a new position, and then as soon as I get finished with the 4-8 weeks of training, find out what is going on and that I might not be able to work there until retirement age. Who knows, I might lose it walking in the door if it starts out as a bad legs day. Any help is greatly appreciated.
