Lighthouse II study terminated after interim analysis - TRICALS

TRICALS, in collaboration with King’s College London and Macquarie University, today announced that the global Phase 3 placebo-controlled Lighthouse II study was terminated after the interim analysis did not demonstrate an effect on its primary outcome measure.

Disappointing, but had been hearing rumblings for months on it.

Is it me or does it seem like in the past year there was so much further along in the pipeline and now very few drugs in later phases.

Urgh
I have been taking Triumeq off label for over a year now. I don’t want to stop, while I’m still progressing at a slowish rate, I’ve not experienced any lung issues and very minimal swallowing issues- what if it has contributed to this? It’s heartbreaking.
