i have been diagnosed unofficially with als,by neurologist upon visual inspection.in the meantime i have had emg,mri of c-spine,and blood test.official diagnoses is unknown, but anyways before i showed any symptoms of als (tight feet and calves) i developed neuromas in both feet a month prior.is there any connection????

None that I am aware of. What do you mean diagnosed visually? And what did your emg show?

oh sorry,he listened to my story and checked my strength, seeing my arms twitch ,he says i have bad news ,i think its als.....so after the ncs the doc looks over results, and exclaims to other doc...hmm the plot thickens

a simple question

does severe weakness and atrophy ,plus twitching mean i have something terminal?

I have merged your threads because in spite of what you chose as your interest , according to the information you have given, you are NOT diagnosed with ALS at this time. If you were diagnosed with ALS then yes it is terminal. Since you apparently are not, then your symptoms could be many things that are not terminal. If you got the report of your NCS and EMG and posted it, we might be able to make helpful comments. The fact that they apparently saw something abnormal on the NCS makes it likely your answer will be not ALS
