Hello everyone,
my name is Alex, and I’m writing from Germany. I was diagnosed with ALS in 2024 at the age of 38. Since then, life has changed dramatically, but I’m doing my best to face each day with courage, humor, and a bit of stubbornness.
I’ve created a website to share my experiences, raise awareness, and connect with others:

It’s mostly in German, but I’m planning to offer some content in English soon. I write blog posts about living with ALS, practical tips, and my personal journey – from navigating bureaucracy to keeping a sense of humor.
I’d love to learn more about others here. Are there any websites or blogs in the English-speaking world by people living with ALS that you’d recommend? I’m always looking for inspiration and stories from others walking a similar path.
Looking forward to connecting with you all.
Warm regards,
Alex
