PALS opposed to feeding tube

Laurie and Kim. Yes there are sublingual meds for last weeks and days. I used them every day. Every day, multiple times a day. I was not talking about that time!!! My PALS was not able to swallow anything, ANYTHING as of January. He died in June. THAT is why the tube was so important.
But everyone can make their own choice. And I think I will choose to take a break from this forum.

If there is a tube, of course, it can be used for meds. And most PALS do opt to get one.

But if there is not a tube, which is a legitimate choice, it may be reassuring to CALS that the lack of a tube does not prevent them from offering their PALS a self-directed and peaceful passage.

Equally legitimate is the choice for a past CALS to step away from here and/or other ALS-related activities. Life after a PALS' death has many layers to it.

Now closing this thread at the OP's request.

Best,
Laurie
