Hello all,
I had posted about 10 months ago,

Since thus last post, muscle wasting has progressed in my legs, feet, arms and hands. Have become “deformly” skinny. Now muscle loss has extended to my shoulders, neck and upper back muscles. In the past several weeks, I have developed soreness in my neck and now have difficulty swallowing food without the use of water to wash it down. I also have developed a habit of waking up to great pain in my jaw, throat, gums and even some teeth. In the past 3 months I have lost 25 lbs (and dropping), despite an extremely high intake of protein and calories. All very disturbing. Again awaiting to see my neuro (months out). Sorry to bother, but is any of this the at all consistent with ALS symptoms any of you may have witnessed?

It doesn’t sound familiar to me. I don’t know what is wrong with what does your pcp say? It sounds like you need a good internist to give an opinion while you wait as it may not be neurological or may be more than one thing

Thanks for the reply Nikki. Appreciate your input. My pcp always says wait to see what neuro says. Complete frustration here.

Maybe it's time for a new PCP, and possibly to see a rheumatologist.
