This is Andy from China saying hello to everybody. My mom was diagnosed with ALS two motn ago(Sep.2008), She has been despaired since then, I'am very nervous about her. Since our financial situation, We do not have much money on supporting the only impactful medicine(Maybe) "Riluzole"...
How can they say this drug slows the progression of ALS when they can not even say how it works, how do they prove it? How do we know that they are just not ripping people off, they say it extents life for 2 months thats it? I wonder how much they paid the FDA to get it approved? If it does...
Anyone tracking those who might be taking Lithium and Riluzole to see what sort of benefit this combination might provide? Anyone here trying it (both), and if so, to what effect?
