This morning I read an article about ALS in the Atlantic. It's a good, short summary or overview on what happened in a community in France that had an above average amount of cases for a while. I found it interesting.

I read this article earlier in the week. Although the article itself was interesting, what blew me away was people still eat those mushrooms. I know there is no direct evidence, but man, I would not risk it!

More astonishing is the case of a French man who ate false morels, and was diagnosed with ALS, then 6 years later he was healthy again. I guess the fact he was in severe obesity (BMI: 35) at the time he went ill, played some role.
