Hospital Bed Remote

The buttons on the hospital bed (Joerns) remote are getting too difficult for my pALS to push. Does anyone know of a controller that requires less pressure to operate?

not the simplest solution but I have wired my remote for computer or voice control so I can use eye gaze. Look at my past posts for ideas. It's not that complicated for hand's on tech minded types.

Some commercial beds allow for voice control/integrate with Alexa/Google, as well, if he still has speech. Joerns appears to be a brand that may work with some middleware (Google to see). But as Jimi says, it can be DIY also.
