    Wife diagnosed w/als

    My wife of 51 years was just diagnosed w/als last month. We are going for a 2nd opinion 2/11/2008 and we are in the MD Assn. system. We will have genetic counseling an hour b/4 the neurologist sees her. Are we heading in the right direction here with this disease?

    More logistical questions: legal and such - putting eveything in wife's name?

    Hi, just trying to help out a couple facing all these issues. Does anyone have any recommendations regarding assests (house, car, bank accounts, etc...) and whether or not it makes any sense to put all those things in the healthy spouse's name only...or keep it all in the ALS spouse's name...
