Hello all. My husband has a 4 month, ALS clinic appointment next week. He will have his respiratory function measured then. I am not sure how that will go, but I am assuming his values have decreased (sorry, I don't know his MIP/FVC as I was still too stunned at the first clinic to absorb...

My last thread closed so just a quick recap ( from 6 weeks ago) I added daytime issues

I have been going to a workout place, three times a week now. I started 4 weeks ago. It is 100 degrees in the room, it with a lot of elite athletes. It's hard to describe, but I would say it's mostly calisthenics, and stretching. It's about an hour or so, he starts with a motivational "lecture"...
Is there any equipment for less than $1,000 that measures your FVC at home? I've seen cheap things on Amazon used for asthma. I'm thinking at least you could get relative numbers even if they are not correct. I'm trying to think of ways to minimize my trips to Jacksonville in the future.
Well it's clinic day today. Wish me luck. Dreading the FVC. Getting winded so much quicker now. I do have a bit of a cold so not sure how accurate the test can be when you are stuffy. Happy Tuesday all.
